The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has said only six persons were [neutralized] in Saturday’s church collapse in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
The head of NEMA’s Media and Public Relations, Sani Datti, said the agency conducted a 360-degree search at the scene.
The agency said after a thorough search of body counts, about six persons were [neutralized] while 115 persons were injured.
The agency added that no one is currently left under the rubble as those affected had since been evacuated.
The collapsed structure belongs to Reigners Bible Ministry.
The new generation Church is located on KM 1, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Reigners Bible Church auditorium caved in on Saturday during the consecration of Bishop-elect, Akan Weeks.
Many dignitaries, including the state governor, Udom Emmanuel, was said to have escaped death by the whiskers.
