President Muhammadu Buhari seems to have started off 2017 on high velocity.
Since the turn of the year, he has so far made far-reaching appointments and decisions that will affect hs administration.
Just yesterday, the president approved the appointment of Major-General Emmanuel Bassey (rtd) and Mr. Ado Abdullahi Ja’afar.
Both of them are to serve as Commissioners of the Civil Defense, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Services Board (CDFIPB).
The statement was made available to pressmen yesterday by the acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Mr. Muhammadu Maccido.
Before their appointments, Bassey was a retired Major-General in the Nigerian Army, while Ja’afar was a retired Assistant Controller-General of Immigration.
Their appointments, Maccido said, is with immediate effect.
