Fulani herdsmen strikes Abuja, abduct NYSC members

Three women have been abducted by Fulani herdsmen in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.

At least one of them is a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC.

The Head of Anti-Kidnapping Unit in Special Anti-Robbery Squad in the Federal Capital Territory, Yemi Ola, confirmed the abduction.

Yemi said his office received a distress call from his men on the ground.

He said, “The report was made at Kwali Division from where it was transferred to us yesterday (Thursday) night.

“We took a statement from the sister of one of the victims who was inside the vehicle.

“I told them to come back today and I am still expecting them.”

The herdsmen have made contact with the corpers’ family.

They are demanding for N15 million naira ransom cash!

So far, three youth corps members have been [neuralized] in bizarre circumstances across the country.

All deaths happened within the last thirty days.
