The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, has geared up plans to forestall suicide attempts by members of failed Ponzi scheme, MMM.
LASEMA urged Lagos State residents to dial their emergency line, 112 if they see anybody trying to commit suicide.
MMM Nigeria which has frozen today, making it impossible for members to request for money payments.
The requests, popularly called getting help (GP), was suspended by promoters of the scheme.
The agency took to one of its social media handles to publicise their emergency line.
A twitter user had urged the agency to station officers across major bridges of the state.
The user says he believes so many frustrated members could go and try suicide.
