Igbo Union in Malaysia has pronounced the unexpected demise of Eze Ndigbo of Malaysia, Chief Izuchukwu Nwajiaku.
Chief Izuchukwu reportedly died in his sleep on Sunday October 23rd. This is coming just two months after his coronation.
He let behind a wife and three children. The Eze Ndigbo was crowned in August 2016.
Someone close to him Nadis Justin Emechebe, took to his Facebook handle to break the news about his death by posting the picture of him with the caption:
“I couldn’t believe he is gone when I first heard the news so I had to make a proper verification before making a condolence post because he is one of the greatest Igbo man in Malaysia and he was crowned the Eze Ndi Igbo in Malaysia this year.
“With my heart full of sorrow and despair, I personally announces the untimely and sudden death of our brother, father, husband and friend Eze ndi Igbo na Malay, Chief Izuchukwu Nwajiaku, Afu enyi amalu enyi na Ozubulu, Ogalanya a na eli ego ya o na eme. Rest in Peace Onwa.”
Confirming the story, the acting President of Igbo Union in Malaysia, Chief Ogbuefi, confirmed the news. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
