President Buhari arrived yesterday in Morocco ahead of Climate Change Conference in Marrakech.
The President was welcomed by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Morocco Mr. Nasser Bourita.
President Buhari was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama, Minister of Environment Amina Mohammed.
Also, Chairman House Committee on Climate Change Hon. Samuel Onuigbo, Chairman Senate Committee on Ecology and Climate Change Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim.
Others were Chairman House Committee on Environment Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
They landed at the Mogado International Airport ahead of Climate Change Conference. However, the president was spotted picking food from a tray.
It is a tradition in the Arab world to present dates to visitors, but should this have been presented at the airport?
Why wasn’t the president received by a top government official, rather the Moroccan minister of foreign affairs sent some one to receive him?
