Why has the president not visited Sambisa

Lai Mohammed, minister for defense, Mansur Dan-Ali, and the convener of BBOG group, Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili are in Sambisa forest.

Sambisa forest was converted by Boko Haram into its fortress. The Nigerian Army sacked them last month.

Hajia Aisha Yusuf, some Air Force Officers, and a select group of reporters were in the forest to search for the Chibok girls.

Other foreign media teams participated in the exercise.

The team departed the Yola Air Force Base at about 2.30 p.m. The crew entered Sambisa 35 minutes after departure.

The search sorties in the forest, which lasted for over an hour, took the team to Camp Zero.

One of the surveillance aircraft discovered skeletal movement of some sort in the forest.

The aircraft, thereafter, proceeded to Airforce Base Maiduguri, the headquarters of 105 Composite group for surveillance report and refueling.

An Alpha fighter jet flown by only a pilot unaccompanied was deployed into the forest.

The team later left Maiduguri for Yola.

Another search sorties by the team are billed for the midnight and would last until morning.

Now here is the question: why has the president refused to visit Sambisa?

Recall that during the Armed forces celebration day, the President spoke from behind a bulletproof glass.
