Finally, the presidency admits the truth. Speaking through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, the President has announced he’d be taking a 10 day leave to treat his ailment.

President Muhammadu Buhari is suffering from severe ear infection. He will be leaving for London tomorrow morning to seek further medical attention.

The statement reads in part: “President Muhammadu Buhari will take 10 days off and travel to London on Monday June 6th to rest.

“During the holiday, he will see an ear, nose and throat specialist for a persistent ear infection. The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja and was treated.”

“Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation,” the statement read.
