Charles Okah escapes from the same prison Nnamdi Kanu is jailed

Charles Okah is being accused of being behind the 2010 twin car bombings in Abuja that killed 12 people and injured several others.

Until his incarcerarion, Charles Okah, a former leader of Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (Mend), tried committing suicide by jumping from a window on the third floor of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Since then, Okah has been jailed on terrorism charges since 2010.

This morning, Okah mysteriously disappeared from prison alongside another unnamed prisoner.

Recall that Nnamdi Kanu, the leader od IPOB is being held in the same prison as Okah.

Security forces have launched a massive manhunt for Okah. They believe he jumped over the high security walls of Kuje prison.

Kuje prison is in Abuja.
