Goodluck Jonathan named for another mission

Former Nigerian President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, will give a keynote speech in a merits awards in October.

The Nigerian Lawyers Association will be giving its Merits Award scheduled for 29th October in New York.

The information was made public after the association’s president, Mr. Nexus Sea, said tickets for the events are already on sale.

“Early Bird tickets are $100 for NLA Members and $130 for Non-Members.

“We recommend that you purchase your tickets before Standard Rates apply.

“The Early Bird period will expire on August 31, 2016 at 11:59PM.

“Standard Rates are $130 for NLA Members and $160 for Non-Members.

“The ticket price for everyone at the Door will be $180,” Nexus stated.

The event has attracted prominent Nigerians in the past including Late Professor Chinua Achebe, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Professor Wole Sotinka among others.

The award is held “To celebrate the achievements of distinguished individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the legal profession.

“It also recognizes those who are dedicated towards the advancement of public and community service,” Mr. Nexus said.

Dr. Goodluck Jonathan had stated he will “Continue to serve and dedicate my life to promoting peace and prosperity for all.

And also to “Devoting the rest of my life and energy to making the world a better place.”

Lately, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan have been on international speaking tours.

Dr. Goodluck Jonathan was also chosen to present the keynote address at the 2016 Hope Global Forums conference.

A former president of the United States, Bill Clinton, took the role last year where more than 3, 000 leaders from 40 countries gathered.
