Yesterday, the Nigerian Military declared three persons wanted for alleged ties with Boko Haram.
They are Ahmed Salkida, Ahmed U. Bolori and Aisha Wakil.
The Nigerian Army claimed these three had information on the conditions and the exact location of kidnapped Chibok girls.
According to the Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman, “Two recent incidents have pointed to the fact that the individuals declared wanted have information on the conditions and the exact location of these girls.
“Therefore, the Nigerian Army hereby declare the two gentlemen and the lady wanted for interrogation.
“There is no doubt that these individuals have links with Boko Haram Terrorists.
“They make contacts with them too.
“They must therefore come forward and tell us where the group is keeping the Chibok Girls,” Col. Sani said.
Barely hours after that declaration, Barrister Aisha Wakil went to Defense Headquarters, Abuja.
Aisha was one of those declared wanted by the military yesterday for alleged ties to Boko Haram.
Aisha arrived at the Defense Headquarters moments ago.
She said the front desk officers asked her what she wanted and she told them she was declared wanted yesterday.
But the officers said they were not aware of such and she asked them to read the newspapers online.
“They told me they will go and read and get back to me,” Ms. Aisha said.
A few minutes later, a supervisor entered the reception to collect Ms. Wakil’s passport.
Confirming the story, Col. Sani said “I have been reliably informed that Aisha has reported at the Defense Headquarters.
“She has been directed to the Directorate of Military Intelligence,” Mr. Usman said.
The two other people declared wanted also say they were contacted earlier.
They have also offered to make themselves available for questioning.
