Nigerian Army storms Niger Delta on Buhari’s orders

True to his word, President Buhari ordered members of the Nigerian Army to fish out members of the Niger-Delta Avengers. The army has executed that order to the letter. They have invaded Oporoza community, in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State.

Ex militant leader, Tompolo hails from the same community where the Nigerian Army invaded. Following a tip-off, members of the Nigerian stealthily entered the community at about 1:00 am and thereafter ransacked the community.

The traditional ruler of Gbaramatu Kingdom, HRM Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadaba, offered to arbitrate in the face-off between the Federal Government and Tompolo. But the rampaging Niger-Delta Avengers had warned Tompolo to apologize to the group or the Nigerian government would bear the brunt.

In a statement released by the dreaded group, the spokesperson Col. Mudoch Agbinibo stated that “In same vein, the Niger Delta Avengers strike team 7 blew up Well D25 in Abiteye. A major gas Well belonging to Chevron. And also blew up major pipe lines to effectively put the Abiteye, Alero, Dibi, Otunana and Makaraba flow stations that feed the Chevron tank farm out of operation. As at now Chevron operation in the Niger Delta is zero.

“We want the public to know that despite the heavy present of Military operatives our activities can’t be stop and its just waste of fund and time to let the Nigeria military protect oil installations.

“This is a clear warning to all Niger Delta Politicians, Traditional rulers, Community leaders, and the likes of Tompolo to mind their business and leave the liberation of the Niger delta people to the Avengers. Those who believe taking sides with federal government to fight Niger Deltans is the best option (sic).
