Report one person and get N500,000 cash – Army

The Nigerian Army is very concerned by the increased spate of suicide attacks across the North East.

For this reason, the Nigerian military is trailing those behind the attacks, their accomplices and those ordering the attacks.

The Army has in fact offered a hefty sum of N500,000 as a cash reward for anybody that volunteers credible information.

This was disclosed by the Director of Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Sani Usman, in a statement on Tuesday.

According to Sani: “The spate of suicide bombings in Maiduguri and Madagali is assuming a disturbing proportion.

“Consequently, the Nigerian Army is offering a reward of N500,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of a suicide bomber.

“We will also offer the same price if the info guides us to a suicide bomber or discovery of their house or factories.

“We would like to reassure that all information received would be treated with utmost confidentiality and acted upon with dispatch.

“We also appreciate the cooperation of the members of the general public so far.

However, we harp on the need for vigilance and security consciousness.

“This will save lives and help apprehendBoko Haram terrorists and their sponsors.

“Once again we call on all law abiding citizens to provide useful information to security agencies on this.

“This will ensure a quicker apprehension of remnants of terrorists still bent on unleashing mayhem on Nigerians.”

This declaration is coming at a time when Boko Haram suicide bombers attacked a mosque at the University of Maiduguri, Borno State killing a Professor and several others.
