Some unidentified security operatives stormed one of the houses of former president Goodluck Jonathan, GEJ, yesterday.

Eyewitnesses say they believe the crack team is operatives of the Department of State Security Service, DSS.

Vanguard Nigeria cannot authoritatively verify the particular security agency that executed the raid yesterday.

The operatives carted away some valuables from the home of the former first family.

In the video footage, the security operatives were seen driving away in two white Hilux vans and a white bus.

The raid which occurred in one of the first family houses in Abuja shocked passersby.

The house is located along Igbeti Rock Street, Abuja.

They carted away valuables and an envelope whose content is yet to be known.

The security operatives broke into the house with several weapons like hammer, chisel, and pliers.

The allegedly overpowered a security guard at the house after telling him they were looking for a Barrister.

The reason for the raid is not fully available as at press time.

However, speculations indicate that is connected to president Buhari’s anticorruption drive across the nation.
